• Alumni softball games will take place at LaCombe Field, beginning at 1 p.m.

• Music from the last 150 years will take place at Mitchell United Methodist Church 7:30 p.m.

Monday, July 6

• Alumni softball games will take place at LaCombe Field, beginning at 6 p.m.

• Continental Breakfast at the Negaunee Senior Center  from 9-11 a.m.  

• VFW Local 3165 open house.

Tuesday, July 7

• Continental Breakfast at the Negaunee Senior Center  from 9-11a.m.  

NHS Class of 1958 will meet from noon-2 p.m. at the Negaunee Senior Center to celebrate its 75th birthday party.

NHS Class of 1954 will meet from 10 a.m.-noon at the Negaunee Senior Center.

• Negaunee Senior Center will host Senior Appreciation Day with a performance by Pioneer Princess Candidates and free refreshments at 1:00 p.m. Cost Free for seniors.

NHS Class of 1948 will meet from 1-2:30 p.m. at the Negaunee Senior Center.

• Michigan Iron Industry Museum will host “Afternoons at the Museum: Native Claims & Discovery of Iron Ore in the UP” at 2 p.m.  Cost Free.

• Alumni softball games will take place at LaCombe Field, beginning at 6 p.m.

• NHS Class of 1957 Meet & Greet from 10a.m.-noon for a coffee social at the Negaunee Senior Center

• Model A Club Car Show and Ice Cream Social will be held at the Negaunee Historical Museum at 6 p.m.

• VFW Local 3165 open house.

VFW Local 3165  Wine Tasting from 6-8 p.m. with Black Pearl from 7-11 p.m.  Hors d'oeuvres available.  Cot $12 for 3 glasses of wine and glass keepsake.

Wednesday, July 8

• Continental Breakfast at the Negaunee Senior Center  from 9-11a.m.  

NHS Class of 1950 will meet for coffee 10a.m.-noon at the Negaunee Senior Center.

NHS Class of 1951 will meet for coffee at 10 a.m. at the Negaunee Senior Center.

NHS Class of 1947 will meet for coffee 1:30- 3:30 p.m. at the Negaunee Senior Center.

NHS Class of 1952 will meet for coffee 10a.m- noon. at the Negaunee Senior Center.

• Negaunee Historical Museum will have free admission for senior citizens from 10:00 a.m.to 4:00 p.m.

• Negaunee Senior Center will offer a pasty pie luncheon; open to the public, at 11:30 a.m. Cost is $5.75 senior/$6.75 public. 

• Negaunee Elk’s Kids Bike Parade line up begins at 11:00 a.m. at the corner of Iron St. & Silver St. then ends at the Ice Arena.

• Negaunee Elk’s Kids Day runs from noon to 3:00 p.m. at the Negaunee Ice Arena, offering food, games and raffles.

• Local 4950 Steelworkers will have an open house at Ronn Hall, from noon to 4:00 p.m. Entertainment- Mining History Presentation with food and beverages. Cost Free.

Friends of the Negaunee Library need help sorting books starting at noon at the Negaunee Senior Center.

• Old-timers Softball Game begins at 3:00 p.m. at LaCombe Field.

• Pasqualis Cars Show and Cruise will be held at Pasquali’s on Teal Lake Avenue. Drive-in is from 6-9 p.m., cruise at 9 p.m.  Cost Free.

• Negaunee City Band will perform at 7:30 p.m. at the band shell.

Thursday, July 9

• Alumni softball games will take place at LaCombe Field, beginning at 6 p.m.

• Friends of the Negaunee Library will have their annual used book sale from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at the Negaunee Senior Center.

• NHS Class of 1990 will meet 9 p.m. at Chappers.

• NHS Class of 1970 will meet at the Negaunee Mall from 4-8 p.m.

• NHS Class of 1960 will meet at 10 a.m. at the Negaunee Senior Center.

• NHS Class of 1961Coffee Social will meet at 10a.m. at the Negaunee Senior Center.

• NHS/St. Paul Class of 1956 Coffee Social will meet from 1-3 p.m. at the Negaunee Senior Center.

• Mather “B” Reunion will take place from 1-4 p.m. at Barr’s Bar.

• NHS Class of 1962 Coffee social at 1p.m. at the Negaunee Senior

• Central U.P. Fishing Association will have a fish boil from 4-7 p.m. at the Negaunee Elk’s. Cost $12

• Negaunee Eagles will host an open house and BBQ from noon to 2:30 a.m. Live music by The Cadillacs from 9 p.m.-1 a.m.

Pioneer Princess Pageant begins at 7 p.m. in the Negaunee High School Auditorium.

 Social Night begins at 8 p.m. in Downtown Negaunee.

Pie Social at the United Methodist Church from 1-3 p.m.

• NHS Class of 1959 will meet at 10 a.m. at the Negaunee Senior Center.

• Fox Negaunee Golf Outing- Registration 8 a.m. at Wawonowin Country Club.

• Iron Plat Reunion will take place at 11-2 p.m. at the Negaunee Senior Center. Luncheon and program.  RSVP 475-9365.  Cost $10.

• Historic Home Tours will take place from 1- 4 p.m., hosted by the Negaunee Historical Society. Ticket for sale at Museum.

• Carnival BINGO will begin at 1-4 p.m. in the Negaunee Senior Center. Concession stand available.

• NHS Class of 1995- 20 Year Reunion 6 p.m. at the Union Station Depot for BBQ and cocktails. Cost is $30 per person/ $50couple.

• Negaunee Eagles will host an open house from noon to 2 a.m.  Live music by The Cadillacs from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

• NHS Class of 1990- 25 Year Reunion. Will meet from 7-11 p.m.  Upper Lodge at Al Aquall.  Appetizers provided- BYOB.  RSVP by July 1st  Heather Toutant 250-9704.  Cost $15per person.

• NHS Class of 1975- 40 Year Reunion will meet at Tino’s at 5 p.m.

• Pioneer Days Alumni 5k Fun Run/Walk will take place at 11 a.m.at Heritage Trail. Hosted by NHS class of 1994.  Registration starts at 10 a.m.  Suggested $10 donation.  Proceeds go to the Matthew Worthington Scholarship Fund. 

• Iron Ore Heritage Bike Tours will take place 10 a.m. from Iron Industry Museum to Ishpeming and back.  Pre-registration required call 475-7857.  Cost $20.

• Mr. Upper Peninsula “Pageant” will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the Historic Vista Theater.  Cost $20.

• Free Friday Flea Market on Iron Street 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

• VFW Local 3165 open house.

Saturday, July 11

• Alumni softball finals and championship will take place at LaCombe Field, beginning at 2 p.m.

• Big Brothers Big Sisters Range Bank Pioneer Days Run/Walk begins at 8:30 a.m.- registration starting at 7:30 a.m. at Old Towne Park by Negaunee Senior Center.  Get more information and/or pre-register at bbbsmqt.org or call 475-7801.

• The 36th annual Pioneer Days Parade begins at 11:30 a.m.  Line-up begins at 10:30 a.m. at Negaunee Senior Center.  This year’s theme “Hometown Heros”.

 Negaunee Eagles will have an open house and BBQ during and after the parade.

• Pioneer Days Community Picnic takes place from 1 p.m. until dusk at Teal Lake, featuring food, music, children’s activities and more.

• Firefighters Tournament begins at 1 p.m. at Teal Lake.

• NHS Class of 1955 60th Reunion will meet at 6 p.m. at Pasquali’s for pizza and salad buffet.  Dancing 8-10 p.m.

• The Negaunee Fireworks Display begins at dusk over Teal Lake.

• VFW Local 3165 open house.

• VFW Local 3165  live music 1-5 p.m. by  "Two of Us".  Cost free

The Negaunee Irontown Association is a non-profit organization that is supported by a group of 13 volunteers that serve as board members and relies solely on revenue through the generosity of residents and the business community.  As you can imagine, the cost of this celebration is quite high.
